Board of Education 2021 Election

Board of Education elections are non-partisan in New Jersey and Mount Olive Democrats do not endorse candidates. We do feel it is important for voters to be informed and that ballot design should not determine a race. This year there are 6 candidates running for 3 seats with a 3 year term. There are also 3 candidates running for one unexpired one year term as shown in the picture of a Mail-In Ballot.


The League of Women Voters moderated a forum on September 28, 2021 and asked questions submitted by the public. This forum was presented in a nonpartisan setting with all candidates given an equal opportunity to respond to each question.
