Join award winning professional quilt maker and art educator Dr. Andy Wiginton, together with members of the Mount Olive Community to make the Mount Olive Freedom Quilt! In this FREE, two hour session, participants of all ages and abilities will each make a quilt block using a fun, NO-sew technique. Dr. Andy will collect the blocks and sew them into a finished quilt that will be displayed publicly in an effort to celebrate community and raise funds for Ukrainian Relief.
This is an accessible project for all ages and abilities and is a great opportunity for families to create together. We ask that all children under 13 participate with an adult.
Bring your creativity and a sharp pair of scissors to the Mount Olive Library, 202 Flanders-Drakestown Rd, Flanders, NJ; Saturday, April 23rd, from 1P-3P. All other required tools and supplies will be provided at the workshop.
Registration is required to attend this free event.
This event is being hosted by the Mount Olive Democrats and everyone is welcome regardless of party affiliation.
